What aftermarket product would you buy?
You can click on multiple selections. Maybe the aftermarket will listen and start making some performance mods.

If Lexus, TRD, or someone else were to offer a manufacturer sanctioned performance parts line, tested by Lexus for durability and performance, and that if installed by a dealer or certified installer would not void the vehicle warranty, that would get my attention. But if you are talking about installing third party parts, then looking for a 'mod-friendly dealer' and keeping your fingers crossed, then no thanks. I had a modified Audi, and didn't enjoy the reality of wondering whether every new noise I heard was the sound of the turbos about to grenade, taking my bank account with them. Now I want a vehicle with Toyota reliability and a warranty that can't be voided at the whim of a service advisor or regional rep.

Guys don't under estimate the light weight driveshaft and gears. That combination can knock a full second off you 1/4 et and get your 0-60 into the 4's. I've seen many people do this mod and it works. You will only be able to do 140 instead of 155 on the freeway and who needs that. You will get that mph back on the bottom end. Anyways, wow, I can't believe the supercharger is taking the cake so far. Thats the biggest money mod on there. I would buy everything but the supercharger. Thats just to much money for me. Now if I had the money then hell ya!

I understand why many, if not most, of you like to modify your cars. Mods often enhance performance, they individualize your prized possession, and sometimes improve its looks. I appreciate your efforts.
But please understand why some of us prefer to keep our cars stock. Advantages include:
• We save the money otherwise spent on expensive mods.
• We don’t have to throw away or store perfectly good replaced parts, like OEM rims.
• We never run into operating difficulties due to a mod not engineered well for the car.
• We never void a warranty caused by a mod.
• We never get pulled over for an illegal mod.
• We’ll never flunk a smog test.
• Our un-tinted windows never squeak, bubble or cause radio reception problems.
• In a related sense, we never compromise safety stemming from an illegal mod (e.g. dark tints).
• Our cars’ resale value is often higher unless the mods are removed before the sale.
• We believe aftermarket instrument mods, like GPS units or additional gauges, have a cluttered and tacked-on look, spoiling the designed beauty of the IS dash.
• Let’s be honest, we’d rather watch football on Sunday rather than get our hands dirty.
