My '350 is a great car and all, but wheres the fun of having a fully equipped '350 without my lexus-logo blue floor light (i forget what you techies call it). I've tried every light setting on the doohicky next to the steering wheel, and those don't seem to make a lick of difference. What controls the blue floor logo light? Or is it possible its broken?

Top door light, next to the Sunroof area. Try that.

I believe you're right, because...

I had the same "problem" last October when I got my IS 350. I turned the light switch near the sunroof and it fixed the problem.

second that. I just found out that door sills light up after having the car for 4 months. Just press the "door" button next to the sun roof control

I ahve also noticed that my door sills lights do not illuminate if it's daylight....or I don't notice them??

you probalby can't see em during the daytime since it's too bright out.
