dealer I bought my car from had it sitting on the lot, I asked our salesman if it was a cancelled special order and she said they got the chance to order a car outside their allocation. Who knows? I still kind of think its a special order, but it was on the lot for at least month because of the emissions testing sticker was for July, and I bought the car Aug 30th. I got real lucky since it was the EXACT config I wanted and I got a nice end of the month + model year discount

Very lucky!!! The 4-month wait is probably the most painful thing I have ever experienced in my life

Thanks for the info. Special ordering will teach me how to be patient. I'm a very impatient person when it comes to things I want.

Thanks. The options on my car are below:

X-Package includes:
- Sport pedals
- 18-in Alloy wheels
- Sport-tuned suspension
- Illuminated scuff plates
- Front air dam

Additional Options:
- Premium Package
- Lexus voice-activated DVD Navigation System
- Bi-xenon High-Intensity Discharge (HID) headlamps and Adaptive Front Lighting System (AFS)
- Preferred Accessory Package (includes Cargo net, Trunk mat and Wheel locks)

NO SPOILER though, I have just added it last Friday. The cost is $42,787 and I paid $2K less MSRP.

Thanks for the Info. Man! Appreciate it. I am assuming that the $42,787 includes TAX, Title, Reg., etc (OTD price)??

No, it's $2K off MSRP only (excluding tax, fees and others). I leased this one so it doesnt matter.

Looks nice but it needs to be lowered ASAP. That gap is HUUUGE between the tire and the fender which makes these wheels less appealing.

I agree with you. I am shopping around for HREs right now and Eibach to compliment/enhance the ride and its cosmetic appearance. Picking the RIGHT SHOES for the SLED is a lengthy process.

Is there a particular wheel that you are talking about, or all wheels in general?

I kinda agree except that I think the shape reminds me more of those plastic/silver film coated wheel covers you can buy at Sprawl-mart. I generally like 5-spokes and waited until these came out before I went decided to go with another wheel. Diff strokes, diff folks I guess. I've seen much worse wheels in this forum though.

Talking

Here are some pictures of my 2007 IS 250 w/ X-Package. Its Pretty Sweet, I would definately pay the extra $500 for this package! It adds so many cool things for not a lot. I only had to wait 4 days from my purchase to pick up my vehicle!
