Talking What do you guys think of this deal?

My sister is currently negotiating for an 07 Desert Sage IS250 RWD with ML and Sports package, all-weather floor mats, cargo net, and tint for $33,599. Only thing is... she has to wait till the 1st week of December to get it. My question is, is that a good price? Keep in mind there is only one Lexus dealer on Guam, so shopping around won't do her any good.

If there's only one Lexus dealer in Guam, sounds like she doesn't have much choice.

I think she can probably do better. Give John Preuc a call.
BTW One of my coworkers just bought an 06 IS250 for $31,700 out the door with all the options you mentioned.

Very true.

Robert, AK does not have anymore 06 250s. My sister fell in love with the Desert Sage (green) color and she has already decided on it... she doesn't want any other color. They offered her an 06 350 for 35k out the door, but in white/red. So she said no to that.

But yesterday we spoke with the Lexus manager (Dave) and he wouldn't budge on the 33,599 (otd) for the 07 250. The car wouldn't be delivered till the first week of December because of special order... and according to him, yen rates could change drastically and they could end up losing way too much since the price margin is very low (according to him). But he guaranteed her one thing: the price would not go above that... but he would be willing to work on it more once the delivery time comes closer.

my car basically the same as the one you want but a 350 I got OTD for 39908, so 33K is a great deal. Normally the price difference b/t the 250 and 350 is about 5k, so you got a larger discount than my 3500 off
