Question Sticking with 18's

Hey guys,

I'm looking to spend about $1000.00 for a set of rims. I know a lot of you are spending waaayyyyy more then that but I'm on a budget. I'll be getting the Eibach drop next week. I want to stay with the 18's. Does anybody have any recommendations for any decent wheels in that price range? Thanks.

www.ebay.com

Or stick with getting some lexus OEM wheels, that way you dont have to buy new tires But dont buy them from Lexux of course. I think you can buy a nice set of OEM wheels for about 1K.

Click the link in my sig for the TSW Nogaro's. They are just under $1K installed from Driscount Tire. I tried 2 different sets from eBay that were the "right size", but they wouldn't even clear the front brake calipers.

I just chromed the stock 18's and my friends were amazed that they were the stock wheels. The double 5-spoke look is the current craze, and it does add more style when compared to other stock wheels out there.

Before that, I was able to get chrome 18's for my '04 Solara with tires for $1k installed at American Tire Depot. I got the KR-7 wheels and they look very clean.

WOW thanks! I just checked out Discount Tire and they have a lot of wheels in my range. I guess now I will go down to a local store and order a set. I like this because if they don't fit I won't buy them. Then I can just order a different set.

If you have a 350, many of them won't fit even though they say they will

I do have the 350. If I go to the store will they be able to tell if they fit before ordering them? I see on the Discount web site that your wheels are now 350.00 each. Looks like you got a very good deal.

Not unless they've already tried them on a 350. Discount ordered 2 sets that didn't fit, then didn't want to order the Nogaros for me because they figured they wouldn't fit either. I had to argue with them about the difference in the design that would make the Nogaro's work. The problem was not width, diameter, or offset. It was the amount of arc in the center dish that was causing the problem with the front brake calipers. Even the Nogaros barely cleared them.

Could you tell me what other sets you ordered that didn't fit. I need to know so I don't have the same problem. Were they TSW's to?

I tried the Voxx Misano and ADR M Sport. Both were 18s in the "correct" offsets.

Thanks, I like The TSW wheels. Maybe since they worked for you they will work for me. I like these the best so far...

Chromed Cataluna. These are my favorites so far but they are 350.00 each.
