Sticking with 18's
#18
how about the Lexus G spiders or ISP mode rims? I have a is350 with stock 18 inch rims but wanted something differnent and not give up ride quality. I just ordered the G spider from the group buy that was going on this site in August. Got the rims with center caps for 854.00 shipped to my front door. Plus I am sending my stock rims back to Sewell for the $400 credit. Included in the $854.00 price is prepaid shipping labels for your stock. So all in all $454.00 for new 18 inch rims Voxx rim looks close to G spider at least you know they fit perfectly.

I went to Discount Tires today and they called TSW to see what would fit. They said none of there wheels would. I asked them about the wheels you got Gerby. They said that initially they were thought to work but now they have a problem with them. I guess when the brake starts to wear it pushes the caliper out and it hits the wheel. I hope you don't start to have this problem. We then called Enkei because they had a couple of wheels that I liked. They said that they had 2 that would fit and one was the one I liked. So here it is. The Price for the set to include mount, balance, and wheel locks is 805.00. I hope they fit! I will take pics as soon as I get the wheels and Eiback drop on. Thanks for the help. My car is silver by the way so I think the black and chrome will look good.

The brake calipers on the IS350 don't "push out" as the brake pads wear since they are monoblocks with 4 individual pistons. I'm guessing that they felt uncomfortable with the amount of space between the caliper and spokes, which was very small. However, I installed 5 mm spacers on the front (cheap and easy) to fill out the fenders better and increase the gap between the caliper and spoke.
