Just noticed (my Lexus is tilted)
I've noticed the appearance that my 350 looks tilted when its reversed in the garage. I now park on the other side of the garage , front first and can see plain as day looking at the back that the right side of the vehicle is higher then the left. I placed a level underneath the car to verify the trueness of the floor, and it is level. I used a tape measure and from the floor to the wheelwell is 2ft. on the left side, on the right its 2ft.&1/2. I will be contacting my sales rep tommorow (LEXUS closed on Holiday) to set up a service appointment to resolve this issue.

Well, if you often drive by yourself - or you are a good bit heavier than whoever rides in the passenger seat, you will get this after awhile. It is just a little additional sag in the driver's side springs.
You could probably even it out again if you biefly jacked up the left side of the car, or you (God forbid) opened the pass. side door and jumped up and down on the doorsill a few times.
But most cars will eventually take a "set" like this if mainly driven without passengers. Get it checked out for peace of mind, but I'll bet they find nothing wrong.

That's should be the case, if so the factory warranty should could cover that... I think your shock is having problem, you should go to the dealer and tell them about it asap... Just my opinion thou...

This sounds like a pressurized gas filled shock or strut failure.
You're correct to have it checked by Lexus. An inch off at most may be normal, but not the six inch amount you are posting.

Correct me if i'm wrong but I think he meant 2' 1/2" not 2'6" because, if you cant notice a 6" difference while buying a car, your eyes need to be checked :P. 1/2" difference shouldnt be of a problem I'd assume, but go ahead and take it to lexus :]~

.5" is very normal. The shocks really don't have anything to do with ride height as some other's have mentioned above. Ride height is determined by the springs on a stock IS.

Holy crap! 6 inches? When I first read the post I was thinking 1/2 inch!
I was thinking, wow how where you able to notice a half inch difference? Pretty ****. But 6 inches!!??? Mother Biatch!
Thank god it is only 1/2 an inch though.
If it was 6 inches then that would have definitely be a warranty claim! I had a similar thought on my ride, however it turned out in my case that the garage floor was sloped and causing it not the actual car like yours.
