Humble introduction *UPDATE WITH PICS*
I just figured I would introduce myself. My name is Erik and I've been following the IS series since its introduction. Unfortunately due to a bunch of silly factors I've been driving other vehicles. I have finally gotten my ducks in a row and will be picking up my 2006 IS350 tomorrow. Pics to come upon arrival. Nice to be here and thank you.

Aw, don't be so humble. We're just people like you.
Welcome to the fold. Shoot us some pix when you can, and join in the conversations here. There's a lot to pick up on this board.

Hi and welcome. Seems like it wasn't that long ago I bought my new IS350 and joined the forum. It is (the forum) like a great accessory that came with the car. So many nice people and so much good stuff to learn.

I decided to rock the Silver with grey interior. Unless plans change tomorrow, Thats what I will have. Anything I need to know when going in there?
Also, is there something like a member's rides section?

Cheers and welcome.
I agree, this board is great tool for people who are passionate about cars or least the car they own and drive. I have gained so much knowledge through this board it's amazing. What a great tool. It has been a real kick these past couple of months talking with salespeople and explaining to THEM how the car in configured and such. All of which came through info on this board.
I posted earlier that I worked my deal on a 07 IS350 yesterday. My car is at the port and will be shipped next week. After 6 months of planning my move, it's finally done. Feels good.

I agree with all of these guys, you do learn a LOT (i.e how to turn off VDIM/VSC by doing the brake dance)....still wondering how the hell someone figured it out?
I am also waiting to get the 2007 IS350, hopefully in a few months. Till than I'll keep dreaming every night...

Ok so I need to take some pics later when the car is clean. It rained on the way home from the dealership. I got a 2006 IS350. Silver (Tungsten?) with the grey interior. I went with a 2006 because I figured I could get a better deal on them as the 07s were coming soon.
The car just has the premium package which is I believe the wood trim, vented seats with the heat/cold function. Has about 110 miles so I still need to break her in but boy is it a change from my previous car. Love at first sight fellas. I'll have a few pics tomorrow morning.
Thanks for the warm welcome.
