Here is mine with 15% on sides and rear, and 50% on the windshield... I WOULD NOT GO ANY DARKER, Unless you are looking for a felony on your record if you hit someone. If the tinter is any good, they would realize there is something there you don't tint over. My guy who did mine over in Clearwater is prolly the best guy I've ever seen do tints, but thats what $280 bought me. My S6 is getting re tinted by him next week. He can even make it work perfect on the dot matrix on the windshield.

A friend had 20% on the windshield with 5% on the sides and rear of his SRT-4. I wouldn't even ride in the car. day or night.

Pics of the windshield inside and out on a cloudy day.

I continue to be beyond amazed that anyone would be stupid enough to tint their windshield. I live in S. Florida. If I can manage to live without illegal tint on my windshield, anyone can. They're called sunshades, people. Buy one, or hide during the day if the sun is that offensive to you.

i did it so I don't have a stupid looking sunshade on the windshield. makes the car look cheap. might as well advertise for 1-800-Ask-Gary while you're at it.

I can guarantee you that my sunshine is a hell of a lot more effective at keeping the interior of my car cool during the day than your illegal tint. I don't advertise for anyone...it's a sunshade for god's sake, not a billboard.

Ever heard of sunglasses? This is getting ridiculous.

We'll have to agree to disagree. Have a great day.

everyone has his opinion,i personally think it makes the car look a lot better and there's no danger from it at all if it's a light tint.

anyways s6 is your tint from the outside?
it looks great btw
the manual says that the sensor is inside besides the rear view mirror but i can't understand how can it sense the water on the outside of the glass?

I was about to get my windshield tinted until I realized my state inspection sticker is already on there, he'd have to tint around that and once that's a done deal get it inspected in a year for them to take that sticker off and see it's lighter in that one spot??? Hmmm.... windshield tint maybe? Option 2 would be to take it off, which it would self mutilate and go that route, well after a year it'll have to be taken off along with the registration sticker therefore they would scrape the tint along the way and again see illegal windshield tint. I wanted to do it SO bad, but I already exhausted all my options....

factory tint are windows that are dipped and have a coating on them that is permanent. You can go that route, but that some coin!!!
