m so glad my 06 is still new!! No real changes.. An illuminated gas cap might be cool. I might spill $3.15 gas on my fender but at least I won't see it!

Not sure what use that would serve. Gas stations are already well illuminated at night. If you're not able to see your gas cap when refilling, I'd say you probably picked a station that had already closed for the night.

No doubt. Lexus will deny that it's possible, however I'm sure someone that's good with electronics will figure it out for us.

The current "pedal dance" disables VSC/TRAC not VDIM.

WOW, that was lame...I thought there was something big, other than the traction control button issue? Come on, there must be more?

The dealer told me a couple days ago that VDIM will be available for the 250 as an option... But I've already caught him in a couple lies, so this might just be another one...

all of this just confirms the leaked 07 changes a couple months back, I dont think anyone expected anymore than this. Thank goodness that HID with AFS is a standalone option. And I really like the 5 spoke starfish looking wheels of the X Package. Im happy with 07 changes

I see the Exterior and Interior new standard equipment as being upgradable on the 2006s - antenna can be put on if you want and the illuminated fuel/trunk opener is probably just a new illuminated switch to replace the current one (which would be nice since it sucks trying to find that switch in the dark).

And many of us hope that the VSC/TRAC cut-off switch is a doable upgrade, hopefully its a new switch with a controller unit and not a computer related upgrade.

I think the gas-opener release button is illuminated, not the gas cap itself...

I really like this mod. I always push the wrong button or have to feel for awhile to find the right one. I hope its just a switch upgrade, but if thats all it take to upgrade that would mean that there would have to be a illumination wire (one that is dimmable with the other buttons) and a ground wire going to the switchs. If they didnt already plan on doing this last year theres probley no wires or room in the connector. Might be a whole new connector and wiring harness.
