The rims are Volk GT-C's stolen from my boyfriends car. Muahah he has to live with my ugly rims on his car for a while until he gets some new ones.

Perhaps if the gold rims were paired with Mystic Gold or even Desert Sage, it would complement the look, rather than stand out.

The wheels (and they are nice wheels) take center stage. You don't want that -- your car should take center stage.

The wheels should accent the car, not dominate it...

i think that color combo is nice. i've seen several white on gold setups and it was hot! i think you just need a drop to complete the look.

Semi agreed I think black on Gold = sexy

The rims look nice, but needs a drop. CL members are always a tough crowd to please. As long as you like them that's all that should matter. I think it looks good because it's not the same look all the IS' go for. It makes the car look very sporty.

Maybe there's just some jealousy in the air.

With those rims on, you'd better hit the gas pretty quick when someone approaches you and says, "I want a twenty" (street term for $20 worth of drug) because they might mistakenly think you are a drug dealer. Check out the police impound yard when you get a chance.. will find most of the vehicles in there with those rims (or very similar) on.

I sorta like the gold wheels, they are volks after all! Gold color is not my thing, but I think it works in this car!
