Local dealer is crap
Have been talking with a rep at Bay Ridge Lexus in Brooklyn, NYC about getting my 2IS tinted since last week. I was scheduled for tomorrow; however, the lady told me that she couldn't get in touch with the tinting person for the whole week. I was like wtf? A reputable car dealer does not have its own tinting professional? My 2IS is not going to the dealer tomorrow, so I've got to check with another Lexus dealer. The reason I'm not bringing my baby to a regular shop because I've heard the door panel needs to be opened for a good tint job, and I will never put my baby at risk unless the door panel is opened by Lexus!

I purchased my car from Bay Ridge and I would only go to the dealer if warranty work is required. I brought it in for oil change and got 5-6 scratches on my roof and complained to manager. Of course he got someone to buff it out but not worth wasting my time wating at the dealer.
My car is tinted too and removing door panels are easy, it is held on by like 2 screws and it will make life easier for the tinter which means less bubbles. Just my $.02.

Queens Blvd for $130 or so. The tinter had experience before I brought my IS there so he knew exactly what to do. Email me for more details. mlee4984@gmail.com
