Yeah, painters REALLY don't like to do this... like Al said above, there's too much work involved for such a small piece, and the price gets expensive. My painter (the same guy I referred Pocky to for his grille) was VERY uncomfortable with the fact that the paint will probably come off in a couple of years - no painter wants to be accused to doing bad work. If your guy won't do it, you'll just have to keep searching until you find someone who will.

the first place i went to said the same thing...second place i went to had no problem doing it and they actually charged me less than what the first place quoted me..and had it done the next day
