Can you lock the car witht he extra remote inside?
I cannot get my car to lock if my partner leaves his keys in it. Can this be done? Can the car be locked running like when I have oneof our dogs in the car and need to run in the store?
thanks,
martin

There is a whole thread about this so you may want to consult that older thread and ignore this one because in this one, you may get a lot of opinions and thus become more confused. The older thread had all the facts, basically people performed the operations and reported the outcome. Plain and simple.
The bottom line is if you want to lock a second remote inside the car with the car off, use the first remote's button. If you want to lock your car while it is running, there is no good and easy way to do this. Of course you can always reach into an open window and lock the doors.
