Default Big Confusion 6k or 8k

Well i am in the process of pruchasing some HID's. I have seen both 6k and 8k in person. But not on a IS350. I have read many posts by users that have 6k and hate 8k. On the other hand i have read people installing 8k and they were hating 6k. I know most of you have been thru this process and know how hard it is. I would appreciate ur help in all ways. Please post ur concerns, likes, or dislikes about the 6k vs. the 8k.

- Thanks !

People who want a purple light to look cool get the higher temp bulbs like 8k or 6k, people who want the most light output go with 4k range. 6k is a compromise between the blue/purple of the 8k bulbs and the super bright white of the 4k bulbs. The higher the temp the less light output.

Ya thats true. Well im looking for more light output and i am more after 6k then 8k. But still confused on what to do. I saw a element last night that had 8k HID's. It was pretty nice. But i noticed he had to put his High Beams on to get more light output . Thats not what i want lol. Im ok with the 6k. Majority on Clublexus have 6k. But im trying to do HID head lights and fogs.

The lower the temp rating the brighter they are, i have 6k its more blue then white.......but has a good amount of output. I would go 4600-6000. 4600 will be white with a very very minute amount of yellow, 5600 is more pure white and 6k has a blue tint
