The pedals only took me about half an hour. Used a Snap-On drift punch, placed the pedal assy on the corner of my Craftsman roll away and a few strikes later it was out enough to use a vise grip and pull it out the rest of the way. Put the pin back in using an adjustable pliars to squeeze it back in, no hammer.
