Paint Question
When I picked up the car last week the salesman actually spotted a tiny scratch on the door before I even noticed. He was very up front and told me that when I come back for the tag he'd get it taken care of. It's tiny, hardly noticable but now that he pointed it out to me I can see it everytime I am getting into the car.
So when I brought it back, the salesman and another guy looked at it, I was in a hurry (thinking it's just a little touchup), but WHOA, the salesman told me he needs to have the special paint guy look at it, it may need a "repaint" job that can take up to one and a half hour? It was Saturday and he wanted me to come back on a less busy day...like tuesday.
Has anyone else have this similar problem? What is the criteria for "repaint" versus "touchup"? Should I be worried?

The criterion that many use is whether the scratch is deep enough to catch your fingernail. If it doesn't, they should be able to buff it out. If it does, it probably will require paint to achieve a perfect repair. My guess is that they may try one of those airbrush spot repaint processes.
