Lightbulb Just learned something about Nav while moving

If you use the Voice Command "Nearest Restaurant (or whatever)" while moving, the system will show icons and allow you to route to the nearest one. Other choices are greyed out.

If you use the "tap-tap" bypass to program while moving, the icons and nearest POI will still be shown, and the "Show List" option is not offered. HOWEVER, if you go ahead and speak the command "Show List", the list will be displayed even though the Nav Lady doesn't supply that prompt.

You may know this already, or like me, you may have assumed it wasn't available since the command isn't offered up as an option.

Side Note: The Nav in my soon-to-be-departed infiniti M45 is extremely good, and responds to a lot more voice commands, but the more I use the IS's Nav the more I'm liking it.! It's more like the Garmin portables I used before getting my first OEM Nav, and I like the "logic" better.

i've noticed, even in the "help" section on the nav, it doesnt list all of the possible voice commands. I hate how I cant tell it to not use freeways by using voice commands. I'm sure I can somehow.... i think I might call lexus. I mean, if they want us to be able to do everything simply by voice, theres gotta be a way to use or not use freeways by voice only.
