I haven't heard or seen anything about this happening, sorry. If you want AWD and the 3.5, you will need to get the GS 350 AWD this fall

Not heard of anything regarding an AWD IS350 in the future, I do think they should offer one though, I think they do lose some potential sales to competitors by not having it available. But the question is, are they convinced the extra sales will justify the extra cost to them of offering the AWD IS350 ? The thing is, they don't even offer the IS350 RWD in Europe & many other parts of the world . . .

I would be out of sync with the rest of Toyotas offerings (and the market in general) so it would surpise me. Usually, products are offered that compete with other products in the market.

An IS 350 AWD would compete with other products in the market. Two of the IS 350's biggest competitors are the BMW 330i and Infiniti G35, and both are offered with AWD.

That being said, I don't think it will be offered. The IS 350 is pure sport, with performance tires. Even with AWD, you'd still need to change to winter tires in snow. That defeats the purpose of having AWD (unless the 350 AWD was offered with less sporty wheels and all-season tires).
