My baby is gone...
This is horrible.. I just got my car for 6 months and this had to happen. The guy in the pick up truck ran a red light and T-boned my car, on top of that, it was on 4th of July. So my holiday was ruined, my car is ruined, and I'm in pain. But all I have to say is I'm so happy I decided on this car, thank goodness for all those airbags, otherwise I could have been severely injured. Hopefully they will total out this car so I can go and another one.. definitely another IS.

wow, VERY sorry to hear that, but definatly glad that you don't seem to be seriously injured... Definatly go get yourself checked up though. Man, that sucks... What are you going to replace the IS with?
Do you have any shots of the inside? Be interesting to see how well it held up in there... How fast was the truck going?
btw, i don't see how they can possibly NOT total that car out... It is beyond fixing.

Wow sorry about your loss. Glad to know you were safe.
It's definitely comforting to know the 2 IS' did its job in allowing you to walk away from the accident. The 1st Gen IS is definitely a solid built vehicle from the many accident photos members have posted in the past. I'm very glad to know the 2 IS structurally does as well or better than the previous.

glad to hear you're ok
My wife had an accident several years ago and still has pain. You may not feel anything now but it can sneak up on you. I don't want to scare you but it's better to be safe than sorry - go see a doctor. I've had my share of accidents but not in anything like the lexus - airbags coming at you from every direction - that must have been reallly scarry.
