Default My new baby!

Hey everyone! Just got my 250 this weekend from longo.. It's like I gave birth! I'm totally stoked since it's a pretty kick *** car. I now believe in love at first sight! Is it just me or is it really hard finding a black on black? I searched about 6 dealers in my area until Longo called me with only one and i had them hold it while I ran down and picked it up. I managed to get a 2500 discount which I think is pretty good, I don't know how any of you got more since people are actually paying sticker for it. I really wish I could have forked out for the 350, but hey, I'm saving a little gas, right? Anyway, love all the polls and comments. I originally came on this site to find out how to disable the navi block cuz it's irritating not to be able to use it while moving. I mean, I usually drive stick, eat, put on my makeup and talk on the phone while driving and it's not a problem. I'm not ready to go cutting into the wires tho, so I guess I'll just accept the fact. Anyway, I gotta go home and figure out how to use everything. Going from an 01 celica to a 06 IS with navi been a huge leap but all my friends and family love it just as much as I do. Absolutely gorgeous car! I'll post some pics later on

welcome! there's also a temporary way to disable the nav lock but then it locks you out again once you shut the engine off. i don't do it everytime... just when i need to use the nav while the car is in motion. it's really easy too.. takes maybe 15 seconds.

Congrats on your purchase. My co worker has the exact same combination IS250. She got hers back in December with no problem through the same dealer.

As for the NAV issue. You may want to read through our comprehensive FAQ list and get some quick tips and tricks without having to search the forums for your answers. Most of your answers can be found here under SECTION 5:

Good Luck!
