Default ML DSP on or off for music?

I was listening to a CD (regular one) on my ML system, and wondered how many of you leave DSP on for regular stereo music vs. turning it off? DSP on seems a little too center-channelly for me, but DSP off kind of sounds funny.

I leave mine on. We paid for it. Might as well use it

Never tried off yet. Loved the sound with a center speaker.

the DSP is **** in the is350. i'm sorry but is should be a timing issue not a volume modulation like they use. its just idiotic..but its factory so oh well.

leave it standard.

you paid for airbags too are you going to try and use those as much as possible?

bad analogy--airbag is a safety item, not luxury--you will be thankful you have an airbag when the time comes; although you'd wish that you'd never have to use it. DSP is more like the seat heater/cooler--use it if you feel it enhances your driving/listening experience. I personally leave it on because the plain stereo mode sounds kind of flat in comparison.

jesus jlin it was a purposely over exagerated analogy. get out once and a while.

and it probably sounds 'weird' with it off because you've been listening to one band louder than the other for a while.
