I did my 300 for 200 and was quoted the same on the 350. It was the same tint aforementioned in your origional post. The factor we cant gauge is where you live. What is the average cost of tint in your area? How reputable is the tinter (are they increasing price because of renoun). You also want a lifetime garuntee. I could walk in my tint shop right now and say i need my windows retinted just for shi-ggs and they would do it no question. I have 30% IMO

Wow... I knew I paid a lot for my tint, but I was feeling OK about it since it was huper optik, and based on my research at the time, it was worth the money... but I guess I should have done some more research. I paid $400 for five windows in my IS.
I remember calling around a few places and trying to find a better price, though, with very little luck.

Lameeee. The first week I got my IS I was pulled over for 30% tint so had to pay to get it taken off which was $300, then pay for 15% at the same price - $300. Wasted so much money when I could be doing other things if you know what I mean.

Noob question. Since the car from factory already has a slight tint, if I were to get the legal limit (GA) of 35% applied to my sides --- would the resulting tint be below 35% when applied over the factory?
If this is the case, to insure no issues, would I have to get something higher such as 40%?
Thanks!

Recommendation for car tint
I want to get my windows tinted is350 2008.
Debating over 3M. is it worth it?
I don't want it to turn purple. Heard 3M was the best.
But seems pricey a shop quoted 300. Anyone else can recommend anything based on their experience?
