IS Weak Bluetooth Phone Microphone?
Does anyone else experience weak microphone levels when using the bluetooth phone connection? Everyone I talk to says "I can hardly hear you."
This sucks. I can hear them fine and turn the volume up or down on the speaker, but the microphone levels appear to be really weak.
Does anyone else experience this? If so, have you done anything about it?

One other tip: put your hand up by the microphone (in the dome light). If you can feel moving air from the A/C, your callers will have trouble hearing you over the wind noise. Reposition the vents so that air doesn't blow over the microphone.

Great thread - thanks everyone for the great information. I use the bluetooth connection w/a Motorola Razr V3C, and the clarity and connection is great. I've heard of people having problems with the last generation Treo - anyone using those with their bluetooth connection?

Anyway, I've followed the directions from Payam's link to a previous thread, and it works GREAT!
Man, I have never seen so many button/command combinations in a car before...as many have mentioned, it's like playing Playstation or Nintendo...
This forum ROCKS.
