So Starfire Pearl is replacing Crystal White for 2007. Anyone know if this new color is just a different shade of white? Will it have a more sparkle pearl effect? I know in the previous years some Toyota models had Pearl White.

Any pics out yet of this new color??

no one has seen it yet, im guessing its an entirely new color that hasnt been on a vehicle yet

Perhaps it's a more "pearl" white than the Crystal White, such as a pearl white found on the SC or Solara. I actually wanted white in the first place, but found that Crystal White was not "pearl" enough.

But then again, when I hear Starfire, I think of the color red...

Yeah I dont think Crystal White has enough "pearl" in it. So that is why i'm hoping the new white has alot more pearl in the paint.

starfire may be off white. similar to acura TL.

I hope its not like the Acura TL's white.

Crystal White is looks alot better then the TL white. I highly doubt its going to change like that.

From the 2007 color lists I've seen it's going on the 2007 SC, GS, and IS.... GS will be the first one out with Starfire Pearl, and if I remember correctly will be last week of August when dealers get them in.... Might be a little off on the date though, not at work to check right now....

I still have a feeling its going to have more Pearl in it. similar to Pearl White. Crystal White was lacking the Pearl.

Yeah, and Acura can't even get their bumpers to match the rest of the TL, especially in their white TL's. At least Lexus does not have that problem.

Since my car is Crystal White, I'm interested to see the new color "in person". The current Crystal White has some pearl in it, but not a lot. My Ceramic White Lincoln has a pearl finish too, but it is noticeably more "pearly" than the Lexus.

You can really see the pearl finish on both cars in direct sunlight.

Nothing has come up yet. In a few months we should find out what starfire is. . .

So just wondering, my dealer doesn't accept any special order for 07 yet.

If I special order an "06 IS" right now, and since the 06 production has stopped, if I specify I want the crystal white will I automatically be given the starfire pearl?
