What model/brand booster seat do you have in the IS ? I have twin 4 yr old boys, and I'm considering the IS as a 2nd car. Right now they're in a Britax Marathon, and I have considered switching them to booster seats. I wonder if the booster seat takes up less space in the back of the IS compared to the Marathons . . .

5'10" about 190, i've had about 3 full sized adults (one 5'10", two 5'8"). They pointed out the lack of legroom at first, but don't really complain alot. I wonder why they always make me drive whenever we go out somewhere. lol

lexus predicted around 5:1 ratio of 250 to 350 cant remember exactly but its selling around 3:1, lexus underestimated the demand for the 350.

Think about this 4-5k for an extra 100 N/A factory warrantied hp with bigger brakes, talk about an automotive performance bargain

I have had people 5'2" to 6'0" in the back and no one has complained. I have made a point to ask people about it and they have all sait they were good. I am 5'11, 160 but I think I drive with the seat farther up than some people. Anyway, from my experience, most people will not complain about it. One time I had 3 back there and that is not bearable for more than very short trips, unless one or more of the people are very small.

Car boards are rarely representative of the general population. The people here are more likely to be enthusiasts who are more likely to buy the 350.

I went to test drive a LEXUS IS350, and let me say I am 5'11 and both my friends are 6'4+. Only one could ride with me. The back seat was not big enough for him to FIT at all literally. Sorry but a G35 COUPE has more room in the back seat than the IS350 did. That is a major turn off when I was going to buy the IS350.

My wife is 4'6", 290lbs, I'm 6'5" 139lbs and I can fit easily in the back seat when she drives

Really, I'm 6'. I sat in is4me2's back seat this weekend, with the front seat all the way back, and nearly snapped both ankles off trying to get out. With the front seat set at a reasonable position for me, I then got in the back seat, and had plenty of leg room. { More than I would have on a plane.}

In case it's not obvious, the IS is a compact car. It does have a bunch more rear seat room than my Rx7 did. It only had two seats. More space than my Camaro did. More space than the Porsche 996 I considered. Less than my wife's old Altima

It's tight but my son's baby seat fits back there. It's rear facing and fits best in the middle. He'll be in a forward facing shortly. Really it's a secondary travel car to our 4Runner.

Either way I don't carry passengers around that often but still thinking about it though...

I guess it's a good thing to be Asian, it's very rare that any of your family members are above 6 feet tall.

Who cares about the rear leg room. If my passengers complain they can walk then!
