Which generation IS do you like better?
Personally I think the exterior (shape & all lights) on the 2IS looks a lot better compared to the first generation one. As for the interior, I wouldn't be able to make a comparison because I've never been in the first generation IS. What do you guys think?

Goes without saying. The first IS looked too much like a camry, accord, or a civic to me. Couldn't ever find it looking nice. Then POW out came the new boys. And could't find a better looking car in it's range, especially the power the ride puts out.

Ive always loved the Altezza, but the IS300 was never a "true" lexus and just didnt have the luxury that I was looking for. The 2IS may not be as "fun" to drive, but I think it looks a lot better and I could not be happier with my purchase.
If you posted this on my.IS, youd get flamed so much. People would be dropping Fbombs telling you how stupid you are.... oh well, everyone is open to their opinion, but Im guessing the audience in this forum is a bit skewed towards the 2IS.

I think this poll is pointless... Especially since the outcome is going to be obvious for several reasons, one of which was mentioned above. Just look at the sales figures to see which one the public likes better.

The IS300 was my first Lexus and first love. Guess I'll always have fond memories of it. I love the 2IS exterior much better. The reason I got the sport package on this car was because I loved the cockpit look and feel of my first IS.

The 1IS was a good car. It definately made an impression in the automotive world. But it could not really stand as a benchmark in entry-level luxury performance sedans.
The 2IS is an excellent car. It broke a lot of barriers that the 1IS did not pull off. It now stands as one of the benchmarcks in its category.

The difference between the old is and the new one is almost like the difference between
