Default has anyone installed LED rear turn signals yet?

I'm debating red LED bulbs in the rear turn signals (something like the pic below). The problem is most LEDs tout their extremely-low power draw as a feature when it's really a PITA since it makes the car believe the bulb is burned out and causes the bulb to flash at ~2-3 times normal speed. Retailers are more than happy to sell you capacitors that up the power draw but that means cutting and splicing into the factory wiring...no thanks.

Anyone know of LEDs that have the capacitors integrated? I can't find any and it seems like a no-brainer

I considered this mod but decided not to because even if you put red led's in the turn signal, the light will still be yellow due to the orange housing.

Tried it...no point...the bulb flickers way too fast.

that's what I'm trying to correct here...if I can find out where the factory flasher is this should do the trick:

No splicing in load equalizers needed...

I installed yellow rear turn signal LEDs, along with ballast resistors. My goals was to the install red vinyl, I wanted the light to be orange not red, when lit.

Well, the LEDs work fine, but did not generate enough light to be really visible through the vinyl. Plus I didn't like the look with the vinyl on; too cheap.

So off went the vinyl; the LEDs stayed.

JUST the answer that i've been looking for. I've actually asked before but no one answered. Now I found it. I was really close to buying yellow / orange bulbs hoping it would blink somwhat amber through the red vinyl but I guess I dont have to now. you tried it and it doesnt work right? Still blinks red?

Default LED Turns.

Have not tried the rear turn signals. But, I have installed LED turn signal bulbs in the front. They blink white now. Blinks fast also, but I kinda like it that way.

i wouldnt mind the fast blinking.. but only if the front signals flashed fast as well.
