The all-weather mats are worth it. My carpetted mats have been stain/water proofed as well.

Here are the pics of the all-weather mats that were purchased through Lexus. They are Very heavy duty and weighed about 12 or 13 pounds for the 4 pack. They have these Huge staples through the top and you have to cut off the rubber to get the mats free as shown in the pics below.

Note the warning on the 2 front mats.

All-weather? If I had a Toyota Tacoma, perhaps. But for the Lexus, I'd only use those during the winter. As soon as the salt and snow-melting chemicals were off the road, the carpeted mats would be back. If I was in the same situation as the original poster, driving through construction sites as part of my job, I'd buy a beater car (or truck) for work.

I asked my sale guy for the all weather mat and he gave me this. I don't think it's the right one but he said that the part dept gave it to him and they say it's right. The driver mat looks smaller than it should be. Does anyone know if that mat is for the IS250?

Why do you SoCal people use these ugly mats? I can understand during winter for states where it snows...

That shouldnt be the correct mats. Thats a huge gap between the original floor mat and the one you got. The all weather floor mats for the 350 should be the same for the 250 in size. I have the 350 and it fits perfectly with barely any noticable gap. Only the AWD models should be different.

If any of you have kids or prone to spill drinks like coffee or soda in your car you'll appreciate what All Weathers will do for you. I twice spilled cups of coffee on the floor of my Subaru and Mazda but due to me having all weather mats they held almost the entire cup of coffee in the grooves! All weather mats are not just for mud and dirt. Now the all weathers for the IS are not as thick as the ones in my other cars but still thick enough to be worth getting and they look and fit pretty good too.

^ dude you got the wrong mats.. either that or you got the mats reversed or something. They should fit perfectly.

That mat is shaped like that because it's for the AWD IS250 models. It has that curve on the side to accomodate the lump the AWD model has.
