Those of you that placed a special order...
Talked to my salesman today...finally good news, the car has been built and has been shipped...for those of you that placed a "special order" when you were told this, how long did it take to get to port....then how long till it arrived to your dealer and then your hands...fyi I ordered the car March 10th...IS 350 ST, Nav/ML Dealer told me Lexus does not give any info on where the car is until it arrives at port....Thanks in advance for your replies.

My dealer told me shipment was about a week and then a week from port to dealer. It depends on how far your dealer is from the port. I'm sure you've got a port up there in NY so it should be pretty close whereas a lot of people in the midwest wait a couple weeks from port to dealer. Be patient, the end is near and you will be so happy in a couple of weeks. Congratulations!

Factory -> Port was about 4 weeks.
Port -> Dealer was 10 days, the closer you are to a port, the better (obviously).
Mine came in first thing one morning and I drove it off the lot 7pm that night.

I received word on mine that it had shipped (early May), arrived in Newark (Port) on the 19th or so, to Dealer Storage on the 22nd, then to the dealer (Manhattan) on the night of the 23rd, installed spoiler and sport pedals, picked it up Sat the 25th...so about a week.

I Was Told It Was A Result Of My Color Interrior Color And Options
I Havent Talked To Anyone Else Whom Had Orderd My Color So
I Really Dont Know How Truthful That Is But The Time U Have To Wait
Makes The Car All That Much Better
I Would Also Suggest Buying It Not Leasing
