Default what's the favorite *parking* light bulb to match the OEM HIDs?

My car is at the dealer right now and they're turning the DRLs off for me...but I'd also like to swap out the parking light bulbs for something that matches the HID low beams. I want WHITE, not blue...those that have changed out the factory incandescents, what are you using? Since the car isn't here I don't have the manual handy either...what's the bulb size?

I've had experience with the PIAA bulbs and LED's and the Philips Bluevision bulbs.

The PIAA led's have a slight bluish/purplish tint to them.

The PIAA extreme white bulbs were white with the slightest bluish touch. If you look at the lit filament, it's pure white. If you look at the rest of the bulb, you'll notice a bit of blue.

Philips bluevision: looks the closest to stock HID's. When I put a set in my RX (4300K) when it was new, it was a perfect match. Pure white with a touch of yellow. Now that the hid's in the RX have colorshifted to a whiter color, the Philips looks yellow compared to the headlights now.

I'll be putting the LED's in the IS as I like that slight touch of blue/purple, which the hid's will eventually turn to.

Hope that helps.

Well that's enough to keep me from ordering, though I don't see how yours turned out this blue if you were sent the right bulb.

i have no idea either, even though now they dont look as blue, maybe because i got the HIDs installed today and it overpowers the LED or soemthing. but the ones i do have match my HIDs pretty good IMO
