Come live/work in hawaii before you go moaning about how hard it is in da mainland and how you dont have money this/that... IF you don't have the money, don't buy crap you cant afford... err how hard is that? I mean come on now you DONT really need NEW 19" rims IF you have the stock 18"s just need to dump the turanza's for some real shoes *never heard of turanza'z even if they are ishibashi tires*.

I believe in financing. If I can finance for 5% and make 8-10% investing in the market I'm head 3-5% for the money I would have paid.

Only reason why I didn't buy the 350 is because the power was too much to serve as my daily beater. I average a speed of 15 miles per hour for my commute to work, and 306 horses made no sense for me.

I've actually come to the conclusion that I wouldn't be able to afford my monthly car payment.
Thankfully when I returned from six months overseas I had some nice tax-free cash sitting in my bank account, and I decided to pay almost 1/3 of my loan off with it. This set me ahead of my payment schedule and in september I turned off automatic payments, opting instead to put money towards it when I can. My next payment isn't technically due until Dec 2008, though I hope to pay it off as fast as possible.

when i financed my camry through toyota financial that is how they worked it. if you paid more than your monthly payment like dash did, instead of taking months off the end of the loan it would put it toward future payments and i actually wound up not HAVING to pay the loan for about a year, i still did tho bc i wanted to pay it off fast
