Oh my god, what a Pain in the A... I suggest against it completely. It was impossible to get the stock pedal off.

I ended up drilling the old pedal off, if you do this mod, I suggest drilling off the old pedal

Here are some step by step instructions
1) remove brake pedal cover
2) replace with new aluminum pedal

For Accelerator
1) Remove the black lining under the dash, by taking off the two screws up in the front. Then wiggle it off. You should be able to figure this out
2) get a 10mm socket, a 1/8 ratchet and an elbow adaptor
3) take off the lower left nut. Not the bolt
4) take off the upper right nut, not the bolt
5) disconnect the wires
6) Remove the pedal assembly
7) Drill out the old pedal by drilling through plastic(In my opinion, its impossible to get the old pin out)
8) pull out the alligator pin with pliers
9) Put new pedal on
10) Hammer pin in(Cushin the Electronic side of the pedal)
11) replace assembly

The gas pedal is electronic. I dont know if I trust it.

I dont't know about the drilling part, I know the rest of it is accurate. I got a set of the sport pedals for my lux IS350 but had the dealer install them. There is an existing thread about this already, it has a little diagram of the pedal assembly.

Sorry, I didnt take any pics. It was really late when I started.

Anyway, its easy to take out the entire assembly. As long as you have the 1/8 ratchet, a small 10mm, and a swivel adaptor for the ratchet.

Just take the two screws out of the footwell panel. Push back 2 clips and remove the panel.

Then take out the two nuts. NOT the bolts.

Afterwards, you have to get that alligator clip out. Thats the only tough part.
