I can understand where DigitalB is coming from. I've seen must of the ugliest riced out Civics, Accords, and some Preludes its not even funny. Especially those Spoilers, horrible loud doesn't go anywhere exhuast, and those gay @ss white, black, or those bronze/gold rims that pple put on. And now, some pple in CL sounded like they are planning to do this on their IS. All I can say is, please Don't its a Lexus for crying out loud.

I do not care for the black with chrome tip rims but a few people on this forum have done it tastefully. Again, that is just my opinion. I don't think that such modificiation would cheapen the look of the car.

I'd have to agree. Ppl do some really stupid stuff. I've seen some really crazy mods done to the Is300. I think there are two catagories of mods.
1) Perfomance
- actually adds to the enjoyment of the driving experience and was not part of the OEM setup
ie. better suspension, exhaust, intake, etc

- Race setup
- straight pipes, roll cage, reduced weight items (carbon, removing seats, etc...)

2) Looks
- functional
body kits, tint, upgraded lightsetc

- nonfunctional
- huge spoilers, stuff that looks like performance parts but are there for only looks

* I'm sure I've left many out - I'm just making a point.

The only one's that make me laugh are the one's that cheapen the looks of the car.

Hell, I don't care what you do to YOUR car it's really a statement of who you are and if you want to cheapen your car - knock yourself out. Just don't get pissed when I laugh.

Thats great that 3 exhausts, a coil over kit, and 3 intakes exists.

Where is a K&N drop in filter.... and a Blitz AC Filter?
