Got THE CALL ... sort of
Called my dealer Tuesday to get status update and he told me it showed up on their allocation this week. He said the dealer lists come out on Thursdays and they should get an estimated port date, with arrival at dealer about 7 days later. He was supposed to call me today and let me know the estimated arrival date, but he didn't . Unfortunately, I had a very busy day at work and didn't get home until after they closed, maybe I'll give them a try tomorrow. Anyway, looks like I have potentially avoided the horror stories like GreyHound and some of you have experienced. He said they just got another 350 in this week which the customer ordered in October.

Cool
Casey, That's awesome ! How many days has it been since your ordered? So cars ordered in Oct/Nov are still trickling in.
I have had mine for a month now, 1650 miles. I still haven't seen any other IS here in SWVA. So you will be a charter member
Actually last week, hanging out in the Carolina Beach/ Wilmington NC area last week, and didn't see any there or on Interstate 40 across the whole state of NC. Although I did get buzzed by a older IS300 in Greensboro. which was fine, I'm still beaking in gently.
I had some kind of new Cadillac try to get me to run him. I pulled the front wheels off the ground, and peeled onto the exit ramp, didn't want nothing to do with them!
Then two cornballs in a accord with coffee can muffler rode my rear bumper for a few miles, near Raleigh then stayed in my blind spot for a while, before running out of gas or something. they dropped to the shoulder of the super slab and it was the last I saw of them.
so get ready
You will love the car !
