Default SGM and Cashmere a good Combo?

So I really wanted SGM and Sterling or Black interior. However a dealership just got a cancel on a special order SGM, Nav, Lux, exactly what I wanted. Except is has Cashmere as the interior color.

One thing I am afraid of is it easily showing marks. Anybody have this issue with the cashmere interior? Am I being too damn picky?

To picky??? Get the options you want. You are paying with your hard earned cash.

buy EXACTLY what you want, it's a $40k car!!! I personally love the cashmere because of the two-tone contrast.

I have that combo and love it. I would, however, go with the black all-weather mats if you get this. Not only is the contrast great but also the cashmere carpet mats are nuts.

Personally I think it looks bad - too many colors - beige, silver, brown and black.

For your money, get what you want, not what happens to be available.

I was never a huge fan of beige, but if you're worried of your leather showing marks, wouldn't Sterling be even worse?

I think the cashmere looks hot. Like everyone else said, there is no such thing as being too picky when you are unloading this much money on a car- get what you want.

Well I want to get what I want, but I also don't want to wait 4 months.....

Thanks for all the feed back though. I think I kind of like the combo, but probably would prefer black or sterling.

Trust me, if there is even a question about it, it is best to wait and get your first choice. I speak from experience here, as I have "settled" on previous cars to get them quick only to regret it later on...

being in Florida, I would reconsider getting black leather....hot as hell!

bad thing about the cashmere versus the sterling (and black) is the carpet is also cashmere colored; the sterling has black carpet...which is a plus in my book.

I have a peeve with dark exteriors and brown interiors. It reminds me of a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup. Just my personal thoughts...

And by the way, get what you want. Don't compromise on a luxury car -- that's what luxury is all about.
