I originally wanted Glacier Frost w Black but it can't be had anywhere in Texas.

After a week of almost going crazy trying to decide an alternative color I finally decided on Matador Red w Black premium package. I wanted something a little different than white or silver though they are all great looking. Black is out for me due to unpaved 300 yrd long dusty driveway. I'm in denial that the red will be OK with the dust so don't bother pointing that out for me!

I put a deposit down today and it should arrive sometime in April - has already been allocated to dealer..

FYI - for anyone else in Texas that is still looking, it seems that the dealers here are just now starting to receive other combos than the Premium Package. Dealer in SA is getting a luxury package combo the end of April and Austin dealer is beginning to receive a few Navi systems with and without the Premium packages.

Also Austin dealer has a nice Onyx Blue sitting on their lot ready to be yours - I just couldn't see myself in that color - too manly for me!

Congrats hope you get your car sooner. I'm enjoying my matador red with black interior. This color is so nice I get so many complements. The color is different when the sun is out, verses when it is in the shade.

nice.. i remember when i got my glacier i had both the black and grey interiors available.. i chose grey because i know texas gets fuggin hot during the summers. red is a real looker too.. it was my 2nd choice ext color.

I know it's crazy to go with a dark interior in this part of the country but I'm counting on those ventilated seats to come through for me!

I know you said not to but the red will be bad with dust. Our Matador sits in the garage over the weekend and I can already see the dust all over it. A weeks worth of driving on paved roads and the dust is horrible on it.

But it sure is gorgeous when it's clean.

dark interior doesnt matter for texas, if you use a windshield screen, crack a window slightly, have dark tint, your car will stay much cooler than if you dont, black interior doesnt bother me in houston

Don't worry about the black interior. It will look very slick with the red exterior, especially at night.

Sorry you couldn't get it - the Glacier Frost Mica on Black leather was exactly the color scheme I wanted, and I took almost 2 months after I put a deposit down for me to get it. I finally picked it up at Sewell Lexus in Dallas in November last year. I REALLY love this color - a real head-turner!

I am doing the same also as you approach the car hold the unlock button down for a couple seconds to make the sunroof and windows open by remote. That should dissipate the heat, need to try the range on this.
