Default sport suspension on the AWD

Hopefully will be getting a 250 AWD soon. Wondering if it would be possible to swap out the stock AWD springs/shocks for the springs/shocks that come with the RWD models with the sport package. They would be purchased from the dealer separately as the awd does not come with that option.

I know the awd sits a bit higher for extra ground clearance so would the lowered sport suspension run into an clearance issues?

Thanks in advance.

are you able to get the sport package on a AWD? I dont think swapping RWD in place of your AWD suspension will do much

The sport package is not available on the awd model

The awd model sits about 1/4 high than the rwd IS.
The sport package lowers about 1/2 from the regular rwd is

therefore putting the sport suspension would theoredically lower the AWD model about 3/4 inches.

no one has really tried anything liek this yet. For now theres no real upgrades for suspension for the IS, and also the people who did get the sports suspension got it for the .5" lower right height as one of the main reasons, unless a true suspension system comes out you wont see the sports package people trading up soon. Im not sure if the dealer sells the sports package spec suspension parts. If they did they would be very pricey and it might be better to wait for a aftermarket
