I have them in "chrome silver" on my TSX. Don't let the word "chrome" fool you. It's not real chrome, just classic silver powdercoating. Here's a pic.

What a big difference in the rear lip!!! I think the 36mm offset will give it a larger deeper lip. So good choice going 36mm offset. Say what are the width of your chrome 19's??

Question for Vwong....how do you like those Falken FK451's??? thx bud!!

Default Are they Hub Centric?

Lovely wheels! I just ordered an IS250 and hope to have wheels like those.

Did you have to use hub centric rings with these wheels? Or is does the wheel bore exactly fit the 60.06 hub on the IS250?

I am concerned that most aftermarket wheels require hub centric rings, and am looking for a rim with a bore size that will fit the IS250 precisely. I hear that hub centric rings are not a perfect solution and vibrations and ride are not as good as wheels that are hub-centric with the vehicle's hub.

Thanks for your feedback.

Yeah, when I looked at NINEZeRO's wheels, the rear lip looks gorgeous. My wheels are 19x8 +40mm offset with 50mm lip. I believe NINEZeRO's wheels (rear ones) are 19x9.5 +36mm offset with 81mm lip. I could've gone with a staggerred setup to get the lip, but that would be stupid with a FWD car. I'll definitely go with the staggered setup when I get my IS.

I like those FK-451's. They provide great traction, both dry and wet. The tires are kinda on the quiet side too. The wear is slightly above normal for a summer tire. If you look at the picture again, you'll notice that the tire does have a "stretched" look to it even though my rim is on the narrower side of the recommended rim width range for this tire size (235/35/19). For some reasons (must be the "stretched" design), the tread width of these tires is kinda narrow. It's about the same as the stock TSX tires which are 215/50/17. I'm planning on going with Toyo T1-R next.

From my research on rims, all Volk rims are not hub centric. I think they all have a bore size of 73mm, therefore you will have to have hub centric rings for these wheels. I've had those GT-7's on my TSX for about 1-1/2 years now, and I don't have any additional vibrations. IMO, as long as you get the correct hub centric rings, you should be fine. If you really want rims that are hub centric, I think the only way is to go custom wheels like HRE, iForged, etc.
