taylorjste - car hasn't been lowered, maybe it's just the angle of shot. I also got my wheels through Sewell, but the promo was already over and I wasn't able to sell the stock wheels for anywhere close to $700. You got a great deal on your wheels!

Someone at work has a black IS with what appears to be black powdercoated stock 18's. Something I personally wouldn't do but definitely is different. I'll try to snap a pic next time i see it.

I think 2 different people weighed them and the fronts were about 1.6lbs heavier than stock and the rears were about 2lbs heavier? BTW that's for each rim...

Hmm... I think they're definately worth it if you don't want to go the aftermarket route. IMO the spiders look a lot better than the stock 18's... they sort of look aftermarket... until you see the L centercaps. 
As for weight, I don't think it matters that much, unless you're trying to get better acceleration times with other mods...
