Lexus Ipod nano /IS250 Recall....Where to get one?
I see that the recalled 250's are getting one N/C, but I'd like to buy one to keep in the car instead of my 20 gig which I travel with.
Does anyone know if it's possible to buy these black ones with the Lexus logo, or if anyone got one and doesn't need it can I buy it from you? The lexus website doesn't show them as an accessory or anything.
Thanks

Thanks, after checking ebay for many weeks, I ended up getting one from a member here. Sold my white 4gb Nano the same day. Same here, I prefer a dedicated iPod for the IS stays in the car, my 60gb Video stays at home inside. Surprising even 2gb is plenty for daily travel.

You would think for what these cars are selling for, they would give us one. It would be a nice little perk, and I think a great marketing idea. But, I guess they would lose $100 or so per sale, not that money matters to them

I think most Lexus buyers already have an Ipod or other mp3 player. Why not a cellphone instead?
Seriously tho, it's tough to give away something that requries you to pay more for it (iTunes) in order to use it to it's potential.

I bought one from a CL member because I don't want to keep my regular iPod in the car, and it takes up too much space in the console. The Nano takes up nothing and holds plenty of tunes for the daily drive.

There are other ways of obtaining MP3 files but that may be illegal so I have never tried it.
