IS250 Dropped and Staggered
I did a heck of a lot of research before I decided to do this to my AWD and with the help of Ed at Bob Baker Lexus and Chris at Woodfield Lexus I was able to do this without severely damaging my IS. Thanks guys!
I put on staggered wheels making sure that the OD of the tires were nearly the same. I ended up with a .06 difference between the front and rear tires. Here's the setup...
Front 19x8 +40 offset 225/35/19 OD=25.20
Rear 19x9.5 +40 offset 265/30/19 OD=25.26
I got the Tanabe DF210 from Ed at Bob Baker Lexus. The springs are for the GS but have the same diameter as the stock IS250 AWD. The springs have not settled yet, but this is how the car is currently sitting...
Front Drivers Side = .75"
Front Pass Side = .75"
Rear Drivers Side = .125"
Rear Pass Side = .125"
It has been about 500 miles since the modifications and I haven't had any rubbing problems yet. I've been testing it by hitting rough RR tracks at speed, dips in the road, fast cornering, and even the slight curb off my driveway. So far no sounds or marks on the tires.
The only things that I should have done differently was to get the camber kit and had it installed with the springs. Also, I am a little worried about how much more the rear springs are going to drop once they settle. Maybe I should not have gone so aggressive on the drop?
I hope that this info proves useful to anyone thinking about trying this.
Thanks again Ed, you rock!

Did you and Ed not realize that on the factory set-up the wheels are nearly an inch different? 25.08" front and 26.03" rear... which leads me to my second question/comment. your 25.259" rear diameter set-up is .77" smaller than factory.....so your "sagging" rear springs are probably more of an illusion than anything.......you may want to consider changing your rear tires to a 265/35/19....to gain a 1/2 inch back. Believe me or not..you may even get better gas mileage too....with your car sitting better with the front more downwards than the rear.

IS 350 OZ Ultraleggera
Mystic Gold IS 350
Stock 18 inch size tires, upgraded 18 OZ ULTRALEGGERA
18x8 48 offset front
18x8 48 offset in rear w/13mm spacer
wheels weigh 18.4 pounds each. unsprung weight difference was 10 pounds per wheel. each unsprung pound is worth 15 pounds lost of vehicle weight. One of the best ways to improve acceleration, handling, and braking.

My new wheels and tires arrived yesterday. Just finished putting them on today.
here are the details:
IS250 AWD
Chrome MRR GT1 19x8.5 (all around) +45 offset
General Exclaim tires 235/35/19 all around
Stock suspension
Here are some pics:
there is a 2-3 finger gap left. i will probably buy some springs once they come out for the AWD. i also may be able to get away with a 245 35 19 tire in the rear to clsoe some of that gap as well. Ride is a little rougher but not by much. Special thanks to Derrick at D2 for all his help!!!

Thanks for the kind words. I will try to post some new pictures now that I have added the rear spoiler, clear bra, and 35% ceramic tint.
Oh and feel free to copy. I am in Houston and you are in VA, so we probably wont show up at the same party wearing the same wheels.

Lexus IS model: IS350 w/ Sport and NAV
Wheel Make & Model: Volk SF-Winning (Gunmetal)
Wheel Size (diameter and width): 19x8.5 Front - 19x9.5 Rear
Wheel Offset Front:+38
Wheel Offset Rear:+42
Compatible with tire pressure sensors?
Tire Make and Model: Toyo T1-R
Tire Size Front:235/35/19
Tire Size Rear:275/30/19
Suspension mods: Eibach Pro Kit for IS350
Amount of drop: 1"Front, .8" Rear
NOT TPS Compatible. Gotta see it in person to get a real idea on the flushness, but it seems to be a good setup for slightly to moderately agressive. No rubbing. Ride is close to Sport /not jarring - more firm compared to luxury package.
