IS350
Zentti Fives Black / Chrome Lip
F - 20x8.5 offset +40mm
R - 20x10 offset +43mm

Nitto 555
F - 225/35/20
R - 275/30/20

No suspension mods, Minor rub in the front as everyone else that has 20's on the IS. Which happens only when you turn on the little hump it has on the inner fender well plastic nearest the firewall. Easily fixed it with a heat gun to push the plastic back a little further (work time: 15-20min) Rear : NO RUBBING

i think this will be the best setup we know so far for 8.5 9.5 setup.

honestly until more springs/damper setups are installed on aftermarket rims we really won't know the best combination for this car's wheel wells. but great start at least! i think the above with a 1" drop could be special, from the pic i dont think any more is needed.

seems so many people here doing the 20" thing, anyone tried a wide 19" setup? F9+ R10+?

+36 for the back is a little too low IMO, judging from pics of people with high 30s and low 40s it sticks the wheels out a tad too far, I think low 40s is best for the rear, while mid-high 30s are good for the front

Default CCW SP18's Arrived

I worked closely with John Purner at CCW in order to make the most agressive wheel that I could fit onto my IS. He sent a test rim, I measured extensively, and here's what I ended up with:

19x8.5 +38 w/Bridgestone 235/35/19 (F)
19x10 +50 w/Bridgestone 275/30/19 (R)

These pics aren't great because it was getting dark. I'l take better pics when I have better light. Also, I took pics at angles to try showing the 3.25" rear lip and the fact that my rims are not TOO close to the outter edge.

I have NO rubbing, not even in the front when turning dead-locked. Once my suspension finally arrives and the car is lowered (1.4" front 1.2" rear drop), I STILL won't have any rubbing because all of this was taken into consideration when I measured (for a week and a half).

Once I actually put the rims on, I found out how conservitively add actually measured everything. For instance, I could've added 6mm to the front lip had I tightened the space between the spokes and the caliper, thus pulling the spokes in some more while keeping the +38 offset.

In the rear, I have a bit more than .5" from the rim/tire to the inside of the body/suspension of the car. I've measured since installing the rims and have realized that I can fit a 285 tire on the rear with plenty of clearance. OR, since I do have about 5mm of room left to push outwards (withought protruding), I could've went 10.5 +45 with a 285 tire thus giving me a 3.5" lip!

I'll post again once the suspension is on.

Just got my wheels on yesterday. I got 20x8.5 in front with 225/35/r20, and 20x9.5 in the rear with 255/35/r20's. I also have a eibach 1inch drop. I am getting the rubbing when I turn also. Whats the best way to eliminate that rub. I saw a heat gun but how long do I put the gun on one area before i push in on that spot? Here are some prelim pics...sorry car is dirty...will be waxed on saturday and I will post new pics.

Let me know what you guys have to offer.
Anyone know when any of the exhaust systems are coming out? Damn, can't wait!

Yeah thats right 255/35/r20. Doesn't rub. I actually will be in SD tomorrow for a club at the house of blues, but I live in HB. Here are some pics of the car all nice and clean. ENJOY

You can actually see the tires size in this last pic. Kinda hard, but its there.

Regards,

Don-
Thanks! It's Breakwater Blue. I just installed CCW SP20A's on my GS today:

2" lip on the front, 3.25" lip on the rear.

My IS350 has 1" lip on the front and 3.25 on the rear.

Some better pics later.

Default New Slippas = AKA Flip Flops

Lexus IS 350 Sport Package SMG
Eibach Pro Kit for IS350 Part# 8287.140 ( 1 inch drop from Sports Package )
Wheel Make & Model: Tsw Nagoro
Wheel Size: Front 19x8 Rear 19x9 1/2
Wheel Offset Front: +40
Wheel Offset Rear: +35

Tire Make and Model: Nitto 555
Tire Size Front: 235-35-19
Tire Size Rear: 265-30-19

I have had this setup on my car for a couple of days and have experienced no rubbing at all. The Wheel and tire setup sits just about flush with the fender but not protruding out and in my opinion this is the perfect setup.
