Hi there!
I'm fairly new to the forum so apologize for the newbie question that's probably been answered a million times. So apologize for the lengthy post but I seek answers
I'm looking at getting rims, tires, coil overs and cambers for my 2006 IS 350. I'm pretty sure I've settled on BCR coil overs ... from what I've read these work really well and give a great ride and look, they are also adjustable which is a big benefit to me over springs. I'm also hoping to get a BBK at some point so ideally like to be able to have rims that fit both the BBK and stock kit. I've also decided on Megans camber kits even though I wish they were red instead of blue.
So a few questions around tire and rim sizes ... basically I'm trying to understand what rims and tire sizes I want. I'll number them so they are easy to reply to
1) Lately I've seen quite a few cars with tires that protrude from the car and look pretty aggressive ... is there any downside/upside to having tires this big? They look pretty cool but I've seen so many people talk about their efforts making the tires flush with the car.. so what's the better option? Is it just personal opinion?
2) I think I want to go with 19" rims. I am really liking the SSR Professor SP3s ... I'm thinking I have 3 "fitment" options.. the first is to go flush with the car, what size would that be (without mods)? The second would be oversized, and the third would be with rolled fenders. I suppose I could understand how far they will stick out if someone gives me a starting point?
There is this car with the SP3s that I adore: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/whe...r-rainbow.html -- should I just go with the same size as this guy? Would I be able to do rolled fenders and have these fit without the other mentioned mods? besides the coil overs? What does the "MD Disk" "Lo Disk" mean?
3) Does anyone have a negative opinion of BCR coilovers and suggest I go with another vendor? Or megans camber kits?
4) Any random advice while I'm at it?

Hello all, I need some help. I'm thinking about running 18x8.5/9.5 +20 all around. What would be the best tires to run? I'm slammed on coilovers... Can raise up a bit. Not looking for crazy stretch, but a little would be alright. Also, would 18x9.5 +35 18x10.5 +12 fill in the fenders better? Need help lol Anything helps. Thanks everyone.

19x9+25 fronts on 215/35 19
19x10+25 rears on 235/35 19
Slam it down on coilovers. May need a bit of arch rolling on the back but not 100%.. these are the wheel specs I've just oredered under good advice that they would be a perfect stance. Wider tyres you'd expect rubbage.. less wider you'll get a nice stretch and avoid most problems of rubbing.
I'm opting for BC Racing BR RS series... I've got a Q up just to try and verify this setup and to try get an idea of a good, relatively stiff spring rate for the coilovers.. (I live in Ireland, roads wouldn't be as great as pure highway in US etc) Stiffer the better for me

I have a 2nd Gen RX 350 and would like to know if I can achieve this look with factory OEM chrome rims (235/55/18)?
Just found out that OEM rims are 18x7 so this is probably not achievable. Thanks guys!
18x9.5

I think i'm like the 3rd Is250er (about 5th Isx50) to wear these. I thought about 275/30s but someone say it's too wide so I went with 265/30.
19x10 ET30 with Tanabe 1.2" drop hopefully won't need to roll fenders.
