350 SGM Vs Matador.......Stuck
The wife is pretty stuck on red and the dealer just called and said he has a SGM black leather Lux, ML ready to go., S/O Buyer backed out.
On the red, we are still a month out before we'll see the car as it was just ordered mid week.
I like both colors.....
Need some advice on what to do...........fire away.

I've seen both in person. Personally, I think that the red is much more striking and I came close to getting that color. No offense to anyone with SGM, but when I actually saw it in person it seemed a little dull to me.

I was at Riverside Lexus yesterday looking at both colors on the 250's they had. I agree the red had more "wow". But I would be happy with either color. She's on this red kick right now.......came home with red suade couches about 2 months ago....bought a red toaster and coffee grinder..........painted the bedroom red........
I just don't want her to fade to black so to speak in a year and she's now all pissed off becasue the car is still red, ya know?

Obviously I went with SGM, so I confess to being biased. But to me, the IS red isn't really red, it's more or a maroon, which I don't care for.
Now the S2000 New Forumula Red... THAT'S red.

SGM over black would have been my IDEAL color combo but I didn't special order. I've got SGM over Cashmere and love it. I say go with what you really want (30 days isn't that long) but SGM is a beautiful color and looks killer over black IMO. Good luck either way!

Your wife needs to get the color she wants and if that means wait then wait. The red is beautiful and comparing it against SMG is like night and day. Their just two totally different looks.
Good luck.

SGM, for me it was a tossup between that and BOP, I finally decided on BOP since we already have one vehicle similar to SGM. I tend to avoid "hello officer red" vehicles from prior experience.
