Default Interactive Lexus Magazine Feature on Team Lexus IS350

For those of you who don't get the emails (sign up at Lexus.com), here's the link

http://www.lexus.com/assets/magazine/current/index.html

Click on 'RACING THE IS' down at the bottom of the page

Be sure to check out the 'tuner wish list' for some of the suspension and exhaust stuff Team Lexus is using in addition to Part 1: Deconstructing.

Does Lexus make the magazine available as a PDF. It's kind of annoying to have a Flashed based magazine.

Sweet! The part I liked the best was the removal of the fenders, doors, hood, trunk lid and roof panel to be replaced by lightweight carbon fibre! It's nice to have an unlimited funding source to do mods like that!

Exactly. Even high end sports cars that are not race cars normally such as the Ferarri F430 are automatics with shift paddles.

Real race cars don't have automatic transmission. They are sequental manual gear boxes.

Manual transmission mated with a sequental shifter, for precise and fast shifting. No torque converters.
