There were a lot of reasons, i.e. no spare, no dipstick, not enough power....it handled like a dream but I had issues with run-flat tires (they do not run flat after hitting a pothole and tearing out the sidewall!) I looked at a 335i sedan before deciding on the Lexus.

It's an addition to my 2012 Honda Accord, but will soon be my only car, since I am giving my Honda to my sister

Default Vehicle replaced

My 2009 IS 350 replaced my 2004 Toyota Camry XLE. My Camry never gave me problems. It had only 48k miles on it when I sold it. Here's a pic.

My 11 IS350 AWD replaced my 12 Ford Fusion SEL. Sacrificed only a little bit of road comfort and space but nothing I really cared about.

My IS250 is replacing my first and only car a 1999 Pontiac Grand AM SE. No power windows, no cruise control, no CD player, very cheap maintenance, very reliable, good fuel economy, great traction, no major repairs over my 8 years of ownership, abnormally high insurance for full coverage of $1,600 per year in Chicago, for a new driver, because it was considered a "Sports Car" with its ferocious 2.4 L 4 cylinder140HP engine.

I wanted a taste of the high life, enter Lexus stage left.

And I sold my 05 Acura TL to buy my 06 IS 350 which is by far my favorite car I've ever owned!

Wish I could have kept that Infiniti G20 D:
Cornered like it was on rails, and got 30-31 mpg for my daily commute.
