Yeah I miss the torque - but as you said the steering when that engine kicked in was bad - you were going whatever way the wheels were pointed. The audio system (at least in mine) by BOSE (actually made by Clarion) was a huge piece of junk - the IS stock system is awesome by comparison...All in all, the IS250 although slower, has a lot more upside than my old max - but for straight off the line acceleration the max was king....

2003 Toyota Celica GT Spec Mica Blue
Totalled it on Oct.25/2005 so I had to get a new car.
Was:
After:
Miss the car a lot, had lots of fun in it and invested a lot of money in modifications for the car. I miss mostly the handling and the light weight, and the fact that it was my first car. Love the IS250, but not the same for sure.

Ahh ok. Glad to see you decided on a new car  If you don't telling - how much did the ins company end up paying for the RL? There is a member over there that had his flooded (thread My poor RL) and is fighting to get a fair value. Perhaps you can lend him a hand if you have extra time.
Congrats on the new car!

IS350 is replacing my 01 IS300.
I'm still driving IS300 most of the time, since it's winter here.
The handling on the IS300 is better than IS350 (I feel the road better), but IS350 is definitely a lot more luxurious and way more powerful (esp. in the 0-40mph, where IS300 felt underpowered)
I will be selling my IS300 in the March/April timeframe. Any suggestions on what's the best way to sell it?

2003 Caddie CTS, sports/luxury 3.2L manual. Had it 8 months, totalled it. As was, damn thing was constantly in the shop fixing crappy GM parts bin cosmetic issues. Insurance treated us well enough, decided to screw the oversteer and move to Lexus.

As soon as mine gets throught the processing center and to the dealer it will have replaced my 2004 Toyota Matrix XRS, 6 speed, with my custom voice activated carputer. I don't miss that at all as it replaced my Supra Turbo. I'll be happy to get the IS, been waiting since October and the holidays slowed down processing at the port so now I'm really pulling my hair out.
