Still anxiously awaiting my special order IS 350 Tungsten Pearl/Black Interior/Sports Pkg/Nav to replace 2004 ES 330 Silver/Black Interior loaded vehicle. Love the luxurious interior of the ES330 but hate the Camryesque exterior, lackluster performance and driving experience, and the fact that every other senior citizen is driving one. It will also be my first actual Lexus purchase vs. three previous leases. Hope to actually keep this one for awhile.

The TL was nice for the short time that I owned it, but when it's time to go, it's time to go. I started seeing them everywhere; plus my wife complained so much about how low to the ground it was, how claustrophic in it she felt, and how harsh the ride was. Geesh!

That wasn't everything; however, all of the complaining was enough in itself to switch back to Lexus. We previously had an RX300; she didn't like that one much either.

I knew that she loved the IS350 when she called me one day to comment on how she was traveling from work, at about 30mph, in 6th gear, but could still feel the power. She said that she barely touched the pedal and it pinned her back into her seat, made her stomach get that weird feeling as she described it.

No matter; this one's a keeper...uh, um, I mean, these two are keepers!

No regrets; the switch was more than worth the soaking.

2004 Solara SLE. Owned for 18 months: 27k miles.

Quirks about a bad tint job and slow acceleration gave me the opportunity to get the new IS. Otherwise, that car had everything that I wanted.

Sold it and actually made profit...
