06 VW MKV GTI

I was considering IS250 before I got the GTI, but since my mom already got the 350. I decided to get something different. Yet, the 2IS is just too addictive, and I am so into it. Finally, did it last weekend. Got my 250 at a pretty big discount and pretty high trade-in on my VW

My IS was a replacement for a 95 Acura Integra GS-R. I've been driving her for the last 12 years. There were certain trade offs. I still haven't gotten used to not manually shifting, and find myself constantly holding on to the shifter with my right hand even if I don't have to shift. On the flip side, I just love all the luxury appoinments of the Lex, especially the Navi (am I glad I got that). It's something that I don't really need, but it's a fun toy to have.

I still have my GS-R, so when I feel the need to shift, I just give the IS a day off.

Replaced a 2004.5 Mercedes Benz C230 Kompressor.

NO REGRETS!!! Although I miss the great MPG's... And the BIG LIP rims!

BUT NOW I FINALLY FEEL THE POWER!!!! IS-350!

I replaced an 04 RX-8 also... was a really fun drive, but started to show its age with only 32k miles on it. The dealership was awful about warranty issues, had to get all new brakes at 10k miles -- and didn't drive it badly. Also came misaligned from the factory (which I asked to have fixed, they said they did, they didn't), and that cost me a new set of tires at 8k miles.

Love the rotary engine, I just wish Mazda wasn't the company behind it.
